Activation Process
- Visit URL printed on SIM card packaging to schedule activation as soon as your travel plans are fixed.
- Specify date to activate SIM card, usually the day before you travel. USA Phone number will be provided by email on the day of activation.
- No personal information required for activation apart from an email address
- InstaChat support available on activation page.
- No activation on Sundays.
Phone compatibility
- You must use an unlocked phone with a SIM tray
- In general iPhone X and newer are compatible, iPhone 12 and newer required to get 5G speeds
- Android phones are sometimes incompatible. Go to T-Mobile website and search for “is my phone compatible” to find web page that can check your phone’s compatibility
- SIM card is for phones only, may not work on iPads and Mifi devices
